In the Golden Age of the Gupta Empire, advancement in science, mathematics, astronomy, astrology, literature and philosophy flourished. Aryabhatta, Varahamihira, and Kalidasa were some of the greatest teachers and visionary thinkers of the time, who enabled the masses through their significant contributed to the divine science of Astrology. Kings were taught in the Guru-Gurukul system of education to rule their kingdoms with ethical and moral thought. They were taught in the same way ordinary people studied. 

 

Knowledge was considered sacred and was passed down through great Gurus with divine insight and mystical powers to worthy individuals who would later go on to become Advisory Ministers to the Kings. Kings then became the custodians of that knowledge, protecting its sanctity with great reverence. Invasions led to ethnic and cultural cleansing of the body and mind and this knowledge slipped into the hands of those who misrepresented the true purpose of astrology.

 

The ocean of knowledge contained within Astrology has yet to be revealed for the benefit of mankind. In today's world, doctors, lawyers, engineers, chartered accountants, civil servants, professors, academics, politicians, farmers are increasingly taking interest in the study of astrology and are working across various platforms to rebuild its once-lost glory.

 

In 1986 I had the chance to practice auspicious timings for signing business contracts and marriage in Astrology. Whenever I noticed contracts were not signed during a good time, they always remained incomplete. I have conducted this research with the Asian African Legal Cell Committee. They were one of the arbitration cells for many countries. Auspicious timings in astrology is also generally consulted on matters regarding oath-taking, construction of buildings, joining new jobs, travelling, entering a new home, conceiving children and even for performing caesarean births!

 

In my 50 years of professional experience, I have witnessed a resurgence of astrology through eminent personalities like Pandit Girdhari Lal Goswami, Dr. BV Raman, Mr. K.N. Rao, S.K. Kelkar, Mr. Jani, Mr. A.B. Shukla, Justice S.N. Kapoor, B.S. Sandhu, Dr. Lalita Gupta, M.N. Sharma, Mr. Kumar, Dr. Bhojraj Trivedi, D.K. Goyal, Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali, Mr. Chauhan (a great palmist of his time) and Pandit Hardev Trivedi. In modern times, we have scholars like Mr. R. Santanam, Mr. Laxman Das Madan, Mr. J.N. Bhasin who picked up knowledge left behind by Rishi Narada, Kalidasa, Goswami Tulsidas, Rishi Parashara, Garga, Lomasha, and Jaimini. 

 

I have met several Masters and Sages who had immense knowledge and intuitive powers like Bhagawan Rajnesh Osho, Muni Sushil Kumar, Swami Rama, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Nirmala Mata, Anandamayi Maa, the great Saint and Brahmarishi Devraha Baba, Sripad Baba, Baba Sitaramdas Omkarnathji, Gopinath Kaviraj, Nagri Das Baba, and many more HH Shankaracharias Monks, Sufis and Munis who had tremendous predictive abilities to show the right path to mankind.

 

I can never forget meeting His Holiness Dalai Lama along with my very dear friend, General Uban. Though the meeting was originally scheduled for 15 minutes, we spent several hours discussing Tibetan and Indian astrology at a glance and around the world. His Holiness is a tremendous Soul with great faith in astrology and in Sages. His praising of Sitaramdas Omkarnathji is a testament to his openness and acceptance of every religion.

 

In my journey through various rivers, mountains, lakes, forests and cosmic centres around the world, I met many familiar and peculiar Masters, Sages and Saints who had mystical powers and insight into astrological sciences that predicted the Soul’s past, present and future and even had the power to change a soul’s destiny!

 

Men and women of all faith and belief systems can experience the bliss of the Divine through the path of Truth, Wisdom and Guidance. Lastly I'll say this - Astrology is the science of all sciences. This knowledge established by Saints, Sages and Astronomers is the only science that establishes faith in the Divine. It is the only type of science that believes that fate is pre-determined as per our past Karmas and Dharma. This proves to show that there is a Supreme Being above us all monitoring our lives. An Astrologer might make mistakes, but Astrology never goes wrong. A good astrologer can guide you and show you your light when in darkness.
